Indie Boards & Cards is not your traditional game publisher. The games that you will find here are very good games that are available from self or small publishers. Many of these games will be produced by Lone Oak Games, a publishing corporation that I have established to produce both my own games and those of other designers. The site itself is open (and free) to any other small game publisher that has an interesting and fun game.
By signing up for the Indie Boards and Cards newsletter you will receive my personal self & small publisher game reccomendations, news and updates about the games that Indie is helping to publicize. Sometimes I'll focus on games that are already available that you might have overlooked and at other times I will cover games that are yet to be released. Getting the newsletter also means you are automatically entered to win a game every month, as well as other contests that will be run for every game that is publicized by Indie Boards and Cards.
Why trust Indie Boards and Cards to make honest recommendations? This is a hobby of mine that builds upon over a decade of sales and marketing experience in the computer software industry, several years in the computer systems development field, an expensive business school degree and 4 years of logisitics experience in the US military. Outside of selling my own games, Indie Boards and Cards will not make any money from any of the games that are recommended here, it is a service for both the consumer and producer of these games.
Since this a hobby and I have only a personal interest in building the Indie brand image I can personally assure you that getting a game into the Indie stable is as challenging as that of a traditional publisher! That ensures that a game “published” by Indie Boards & Cards is a quality product
